Intervals is a companion to film culture in London. Launched in the spring of 2025, each week we select the best screenings in the capital through our weekly newsletter, Deep Focus. Once a month, Long Take offers a more expansive take on visual culture in the city, drawing in recommendations for talks, panels and other events, alongside moving image work found in the white cube. Grounding this curatorial focus is our listings calendar, capturing every screening at fourteen independent and repertory cinemas across the capital. We also offer original criticism, on films and cinematic culture more broadly.

Intervals is a one-man operation. In our second year we would love to expand the range of comment and criticism offered. Accordingly, pitches for editorial content are always welcome.
